Scriptures: Habakkuk
If you've ever been in a situation where you wanted to shake your fist at God for circumstances that seem unfair or you don't understand, you're not the first. And you certainly won't be the last. There's an entire book of the Bible built around the story of a man who did just that. Habakkuk was an Old Testament prophet whose name means to "embrace" or "wrestle". And as the series title implies, Habakkuk did indeed wrestle with God. He wrestled with his faith in God and with the God of his faith.
In this series, Dr. Merritt details this book of the Bible, which is a dialogue between Habakkuk and God. Through this "personal diary" of three prayers he prayed to God, and two answers he received from God, we find hope and some measure of understanding when we feel like our back is against the wall and God is no longer in our corner.
