Scriptures: Psalm 19, John 16:8, 14:9, Hebrews 1:1-2
If we want to know Who God is, then God has to reveal Himself to us. In this message, Dr. Merritt explores four ways in which God has revealed Himself. Through the skies we learn about God's greatness, through the Scriptures we learn about His grace, and through the soul is revealed His goodness. And, it is through our Savior and God's Son, Jesus Christ, that He has revealed to us His glory. Against the backdrop of King David's writing in Psalm 19 we see an amazing picture of the God we worship--one Who is glorious and good.
"It is no coincidence that the last verse of this Psalm refers to the 'Lord' and the 'Redeemer.' That is exactly who Jesus is--our Lord and our Redeemer. You see, Jesus is the ultimate and the greatest revelation of God. God saved His best word for last when He sent the Lord Jesus Christ. In the Lord Jesus we discover all of God we can know. IN the Lord Jesus we have all of God we need. To know the One who holds the universe, to know His love and have His direction--our relationship with Christ is the most precious thing we have!" --Dr. Merritt
