Patience is among the most difficult aspects of the fruit of the Spirit to master. Most of us think that patience is the ability to wait on others. Really, though, impatience stems from a lack of trust in God. He has a process on how He wants your life to flow; He has a plan on how he wants your life to go; and He has a purpose in how he wants your life to grow. The key to patience is being willing to believe that as you walk with God, you can trust Him to move His process, work His plan and accomplish His purpose. Still there are definitely” patience poppers” that can sour this fruit in your life we need to be both reminded of and taught how to handle. In this message, Dr. Merritt patiently unpacks that most challenging of fruit that all of us are waiting to master.
"Every problem is a test. Every difficulty is an opportunity. It is an opportunity for you to trust God. It is an opportunity for you to hear from God. It is an opportunity for you to believe God. It is an opportunity for you to learn to exercise patience, believing that God will guide you to handle the problem." --Dr. Merritt
