Scriptures: Romans 8:28-29, John 14:21, Genesis 50:20
Everyone experiences bad days. All of us at one point or another will experience days so challenging, we really can't see how things will work out. God gives believers confidence through His Word that He is aware of our challenges and will meet our needs in Christ. Through this sermon Dr. Merritt teaches about the assurance we can have, even on our worst of days, that "things will work out". As we believe God and His Word, God reminds us of His plan, His will and His ways for each of us.
"Not everybody can say, 'Don't worry, everything will work out', because everything doesn't work out for everybody. That is not what Romans 8:28 says. This verse says that everything does work out for those (people) who love God, who have trusted Christ and belong to His family." --Dr. Merritt
