Have you ever had one of those days when everything that could go wrong did go wrong? Have you ever had one of those days when the harder you try to do things right, the easier things seem to go wrong? There are going to be days, weeks, months, maybe even years when everything seems to go wrong. This is true for everyone, whether you know God, believe God, love God, and serve God. In Genesis we find the story of Joseph, a young man of great character who faced a number of events where everything that could go wrong did. Dr. Merritt's message focuses on what we can learn from Joseph's example to apply to our lives today when life doesn't seem to be going our way.
"One of the hardest things to do when everything is going wrong in our estimation of life, we must remember to dwell on the promises and security we have in the God of promises. Rather than using pity in prison, prison became for Joseph his personal platform of praise, living in full confidence that God’s promise for him would be fulfilled." --Dr. Merritt
