Nothing is random. From the time you are born until the time you die everything in between has a purpose. Everything in-between has a plan. In his writings in Ecclesiastes, Solomon reflects on his life and the meaningless pursuits which led him to conclude that life without God is meaningless. In this message, Dr. Merritt details Solomon's writing on the topic of how we use our lives. Contrary to what may seem to be true on the surface, nothing is random. Everything and everyone is in the hand of God. Solomon tells us that being in the hand of God doesn’t guarantee us that we will always have a paycheck, that we will always feel good, that we will never hurt and that everybody will like us. You don’t know whether that next letter or that next phone call or that next conversation is going to be good news or bad news. The only thing we do know is that behind all of it is a God who makes sure that nothing is random.
