Scriptures: Song of Solomon, Proverbs 5:18, Ecclesiastes 9:9
If there is any area where the home desperately needs an extreme makeover, it is in the area of restoring romance in the relationship between the husband and the wife. There is one factor above all others that will determine the level of romance in a relationship and will make or break a marriage--communication. Words alone are important, but they do not in and of themselves bring romance into the marriage relationship. That is where one of the most little known books in all of the Bible--the Song of Solomon--is going to be a great help to all who are married.
"Probably the greatest weakness in marriage for many in terms of communicating verbally is just listening. Listening intently. Listening with your heart as well as with your ears." --Dr. Merritt
