We think of greatness primarily in two ways: Our accumulation or our accomplishments. The people that we tend to call "great" are people who either have a lot and/or have accomplished a lot. In other words, we tend to equate greatness with success. We measure greatness in materialistic terms such as how big, how much, or how many. Donald Trump is a great businessman. Tiger Woods is a great golfer. Tom Hanks is a great actor. Because we define greatness by what people accumulate and what people accomplish most of us tend to give up on this idea that we could ever be great like them.
In this series of messages, Dr. Merritt teaches, over three sermons, some truths that cannot only radically change the way you see yourself and the way you live your life, but it really can elevate you to true greatness. The way we measure greatness and the way God measures greatness is completely different. Explore God's definition of greatness--that being among "the least of these" and serving leads to heavenly greatness you never imagined.
