Do you realize the first Christmas gift ever given was a forgiver? In that cradle, born that night, two-thousand years ago was more than just another baby. In that cradle was God’s way to be forgiven. There is one Christmas gift, under God’s tree, that any one can open at any time, at any place, regardless of what they have done or how miserably they have failed. Without question, it is the greatest gift you could ever receive. It is the gift of forgiveness. In this message, Dr. Merritt explains how the gift of Christ at Christmas means the opportunity for forgiveness to anyone who believes.
"There is a big difference between a sin and a mistake. There is a big difference between being a 'mistaker' and being a 'sinner.' If my problem is a mistake and not a sin then I am not a sinner. If I am not a sinner I don’t need a Savior. If I am a mistaker I just need to do better and not make the same mistake twice." --Dr. Merritt
