There are three groups of people today, many of whom are ungodly, most of whom are anti-godly, called atheist, humanists, and evolutionists. These groups are determined to eliminate God from our thinking and living. They want others to believe the universe in which we live just happened. There is no one who can tell us what happened because no one was here. God is the only one who can tell us what happened because He always has been. Scientists can theorize and hypothesize but only God can tell us what happened in the beginning. In this message, Dr. Merritt details the marvels of creation as told in Genesis 1. As we increase our understanding of how God created the world, we will also increase our trust and obedience in a Maker who also gives us a Savior.

The same process God used to create a new world is the same process God uses to create a new Christian. When the world was created nothing was in it. It was empty matter. Likewise, man without God is empty. When God began to move, things began to happen. It is not until the Spirit of God moves on our heart that our heart moves to God." --Dr. Merritt
